This may seem like a lot of foods to have to avoid in order to help your acne, but most people aren’t going to have all of these as triggers. Only one or two may need to be eliminated. Before you know which ones those are, you will need to keep a food diary of everything you eat and how your skin responds. An elimination diet that has you try foods from each group individually might be useful but it would be difficult. You would have to stop eating everything on the list for a long enough period to get all traces out of your system and then re-introduce them one at a time. If you don’t eat all of the foods on the list on a daily basis, and you don’t have continuous acne outbreaks, then you should be able to determine from your food journal which acne foods you need to avoid.
